CaCaa's
BBQ PARTY
Lasted
from 3:00pm till 1:30am.
The
Hottest weather for a BBQ
95
degrees (actual) 100 (real feel)
Everything
started off normal, we were done setting up outside by 3pm, Laurene
had the food under control in the kitchen, Phil was first to arrive
by around 3:30. Nothing to do but hang out until other guests arrive.
Then they all came around the same time around 6pm and we had lost
track of time, so food was coming out at almost 7pm.
Laurene
had first put out her signature RIBS,
(Disappeared
instantly).
Then
about 8:06pm as the clouds rolled in changing the color of the sky
orange to gray, the downpour began, then the 65mph (confirmed) burst
of winds, blowing everything out of the pool and all around. Eveyone
was stunned at what was happening.
Then
about 15 minutes later as if nothing had just happenend, the
temperature dropped about 20 degrees, the wind was just a breeze and
the rain stopped.
Soooooo,
we did what we do best, moved on, continued with the food fest and
drinks for the next 3-1/2 hours on the decks and by the Fire Pit.
For
this night, we changed up the menu combination with a few new dishes...
